Just like physical components influence your IQ. Psychological factors also contribute to your mind’s effectiveness.
These psychological factors will determine if you are able to think clearly. (Also read about the Flow State of Mind)
I find that there are 5 key factors to your level of IQ. These are:
- 1. If you are a positive person
2. Stress (Obvious)
3. How you deal with success and failure
4. Your mood
5. Trust in your intuition
A few of these factors are most of the time a constant. These are ‘if you are a positive person’ and ‘how you deal with success and failure’. Usually these are stable most of the time.
Next, we have things that are stable about half the time. I have listed one, and that is ‘trust in your intuition’. You might find yourself blocking the voice in your head some times and other times you openly invite it. I find that your intuition is usually right, if the problem is not dreadfully complex, and many studies will back me up.
And of coarse last will come the ones that change all the time: stress, and your mood. These depend solely on the situation that you find yourself in and are slightly influenced by your constant traits.
Now, the main thing I suggest working on are the constants. There are many podcasts, blogs, and websites that give wonderful information on improving these aspects of your lives.
